We’ve lost a good friend…

Patrick William GALLAHER Born July 30, 1949, passed away suddenly on the morning of Friday, February 6, 2015 at the age of 65 while recovering from a surgery for a pinched nerve in his neck. Now pain-free and without Parkinson’s, as God would have it, he is likely walking the fields in Heaven with his father, Ernest Gallaher. Pat was a sensitive and gentle man with a strong faith and powerful passion for the things he loved – his wife, his daughters and their families, his toy store BC Playthings, basketball, early childhood education, his fellowship at West Vancouver Baptist Church, the community of Edgemont Village and his memories on Keats Island. Pat will be missed and his smile remembered by his mother, Joanne (George) Ward, sister, Elizabeth, wife, Hermila (nee Quintanar), four daughters, Amoreena Penta, Emily (Markus) van Lidth de Jeude Roemer, Mischa (Mitch) Watt and Breelana, and five grandchildren, Hannah, Taliesen, Rhiannon, Aiden and Jack, and numerous relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at West Vancouver Baptist Church, located at 450 Mathers Avenue, West Vancouver, BC, on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Society British Columbia or at www.gofundme.com/PatGallaherTribute.
